What is a miswak?
A natural twig from the arak tree that’s been used to clean teeth for thousands of years. Peel back the bark, soften the end, and it becomes its own brush.

Do I still need toothpaste?
That’s up to you. Some people use miswak on its own, others use it alongside their usual routine. Both work.

How long does one stick last?
Up to 10 days with daily use, trimming the used bristles as you go.

What does it taste like?
Slightly earthy and peppery at first. The taste mellows quickly as you use it.

Will it whiten my teeth?
It’s not a whitening treatment. It cleans away everyday buildup, and lots of people love how fresh their mouth feels afterwards.

How should I store it?
Somewhere clean and dry between uses, bristles up. A case is ideal if you carry it with you.

Why is each stick wrapped?
So it arrives fresh and doesn’t dry out before you use it.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days and usually arrive in 7 to 11 business days. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as it ships.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, free US shipping on every bundle.

Can I return it?
Yes. Unopened sticks can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on opened sticks. If anything arrives damaged or isn’t right, email us at hello@firstbrush.store and we’ll sort it out.
